Introduction

Applications for enrollment in FGA Theological Seminary should be submitted to the Principal's Office. Admission is secured on the basis of below mentioned criteria, in addition to the approval of FGA Educational Committee. The first three months for every student will be considered probation period.

Programs

Diploma of Theology

FGA Theological Seminary offers a two-year Diploma of Theology. Diploma level studies provide students a solid foundation for practical Christian ministry. On completion of Diploma, students can continue for a third year to earn a Bachelor of Theology (BTh).

Bachelor of Theology

Bachelor of Theology (BTh) is a 3-year program aimed to develop skills in Biblical interpretation and South Asian Church History. It advances the foundation laid in the Diploma program to hone skills to preach and teach in churches, and to communicate the gospel in missional settings.

Master of Divinity

FGA Theological Seminary offers a distinctive English-only Master of Divinity (MDiv) degree by dissertation. The MDiv is administered in conjunction with the UK Advisory Board for Christian Studies, and overseen by Rev. Dr. Hugh Osgood. Students can be based in Pakistan or abroad.

Admissions Requirements

  • 1. The candidate must be a born-again Christian.
  • 2. The candidate must be baptized in water.
  • 3. The candidate must be filled with the Holy Spirit.
  • 4. The candidate must be a regular member of a local church.
  • 5. The candidate must have served in a local church for at least one year.
  • 6. The candidate must have basic knowledge of the Bible.
  • 7. The candidate must carry a good testimony within the church and in the society.
  • 8. The candidate must have at least an Intermediate or an equivalent qualification.
  • 9. The candidate must be able to clear a basic entry test based on Biblical knowledge.
  • 10. The candidate must be physically and mentally healthy.
  • 11. The candidate must be 20 years old.
  • 12. Submission of an application form does not guarantee admission to the seminary. Only eligible candidates shortlisted by the Education committee will be called for interviews. Only the admitted candidates will be informed through e-mail and phone call.
